I am a public health researcher with an MPH with Distinction from the University of Derby. My work examines how social, structural and healthcare-system factors influence access to services and health outcomes.
My principal interests are epidemiology, health inequalities, quantitative research, evidence synthesis, and maternal and women’s health. I am also developing a complementary pathway in clinical research, supported by Good Clinical Practice training, research documentation and patient-facing healthcare experience.
My first scientific training was in microbiology. Through university laboratory work and an industrial quality-control placement, I gained experience in water-quality testing, contamination monitoring, analytical procedures, laboratory safety and drafting Standard Operating Procedures.
Alongside academic research, I lead Grace Maternal Foundation, connecting evidence with practical maternal-health education, referral support and community engagement.

I am building clinical research capability on a foundation of public-health methods, Good Clinical Practice training and frontline healthcare experience.
My BSc Microbiology and industrial laboratory placement provided hands-on experience of quality-control testing and safe, reproducible laboratory work.

View OSF registrationAn independently developed simulated clinical research project examining metabolic-risk assessment and participant follow-up among women with PCOS. I designed the study structure, generated a synthetic dataset of 180 fictional participants, conducted reproducible analysis in Python, and produced an Excel dashboard and research documentation.
Disclosure: This educational portfolio project uses entirely synthetic data. No real patients or research participants were involved, and the results are not clinical evidence.

Community impact
As founder of Grace Maternal Foundation, I lead community-focused work that improves maternal-health knowledge, strengthens referral pathways and supports underserved women to connect with formal care. The programme maintains a clear bridge-to-care role: education, monitoring and referral—not clinical treatment.
